The 40+ Method™

Coaching Designed for How the Body Performs After 40

The 40+ Method™ is my coaching system built from advanced knowledge of proper training techniques, exercise progression, movement quality, recovery management, and coaching principles designed for the changing physiology of the 40+ body.


After 40, progress requires more than effort. It requires intelligent structure, proper load selection, controlled execution, mobility work, and recovery awareness. The goal is not random intensity. The goal is to train effectively, move better, and build strength you can maintain.


This is the foundation of The 40+ Method™.

The Three Pillars Muscle. Movement. Metabolism.

Muscle 


Muscle The Organ of Longevity. Sarcopenia (the age-related loss of muscle mass and strength) usually begins in our 30s and accelerates later in life. Building muscle preserves bone density, keeps your balance sharp, and prevents the dangerous falls that threaten independence in later years.


The Muscle pillar focuses on building and maintaining lean muscle, strengthening connective tissue, and supporting bone health through intelligent progression, proper load selection, controlled execution, and exercise selection matched to your current ability.


Movement


Move with more control, confidence, and efficiency. Confidence in movement comes from building a strong physical foundation. When you train your body for strength, balance, and agility, your brain registers that safety, allowing you to move with fluidity and less fear of injury. 


The Movement pillar focuses on strength, balance, mobility, coordination, and control. When your body becomes stronger and more capable, movement feels more secure, fluid, and reliable.


Metabolism


Support energy, consistency, and long-term results.  Your metabolism thrives on predictability; when you align your training structure with proper fueling and rest, your body naturally shifts toward building muscle and burning fat efficiently. 


The Metabolism pillar focuses on structured training, appropriate intensity, recovery awareness, and lifestyle habits that support muscle, energy, and body composition over time.

The 40+ Method™ is used across every Elite Home Trainer coaching format.


In-Home Coaching


Private coaching in your home for individuals and couples over 40 who want expert instruction, structure, and accountability without commuting to a gym.


Equipment can be provided if needed, including dumbbells, an adjustable bench, and resistance bands.


Live 1:1 Virtual Coaching


Live online coaching for individuals and couples who want expert instruction from home, outdoors, or while traveling.


Sessions are coached in real time and adjusted around your available space, equipment, schedule, and goals.


Plateau Breakthrough Coaching


Expert guidance for adults 40+ who are training consistently but no longer seeing meaningful progress.


This service helps identify what may be holding you back and creates a smarter plan to move forward.
